"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."-Emerson

Just love it...

I love Isaac's smile in this one
We got family pictures taken on Saturday and I feel like they turned out great (thanks Ginni!).

Ellen made this amazing dress for Debbie. I am convinced there is no end to Ellen's talents! Debbie thinks it looks like a "Belle" dress, so she's going to be "Belle" for Halloween. The picture does not do the dress justice, but you get the idea. Debbie is now even more anxious for Halloween to get here (if that was at all possible), and I'm anxious for her to wear it too. It's so beautiful!

Great-Grandma Barnhart made these mittens for the kids and we got them in the mail today. Debbie loves them and wanted me to help her put them on (again) and I told her to go ask daddy. So she went over to Chad and said, "Daddy, can mommy help me with these?"

Something tells me she's teething...

You gotta love the glazed over eyes... What would I do without my electronic babysitter? Tsk at me all you want, I would die without barney and wordworld. :)

Cosette is crawling!

It's official now, Cosette is crawling! The reasonable side of me says that I should be sad because now she's going to be getting into more things, but I'm so happy for her! You can't help being a proud parent every time your child reaches a new milestone in life.

The kids wanted to try the glasses out on Cosette and she was very good natured about it. Of course, Cosette is good natured about basically everything. :) She's getting close to crawling, she manages to get around all over the place by scooting backwards so it doesn't seem like she's in much of a hurry to figure out how to go forward.

I had these glasses with me out on the playground and Isaac figured out that they fit him so he would come over and put the glasses on and then get this serious look on his face and say 'I'm gonna go play.' And then strut off to go play.

The other day Debbie had helped me out with Cosette so I told her 'thank you so much! You're a big help, come here and let me kiss your forehead.' After I kissed her forehead she said to me, 'now let me kiss your forehead.' And after she kissed me she said very sweetly, 'now we're best friends!'
