"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."-Emerson

Mud Fun!

For some reason they decided to have the sprinklers on ALL day yesterday and that created quite the puddle in the sandbox. Cosette didn't even hesitate, she jumped right in. The kids had a BLAST making rivers and ponds with the water. It was fun to see all the neighborhood kids working together to dig holes and make rivers. Debbie and Isaac dug around in the mud for over three hours, without a peep at me. The picture I have of them here is at the beginning, I wish I would have gotten pictures of them after they were done. They were soaked and were covered in wet sand head to toe.

A Prayer

Debbie said our family prayer this morning...
"And please bless mommy that her bipolars will go away..."
I gave that one a hearty AMEN.

Haircut

Debbie got a haircut! I tried to do it myself and botched it and finally got it fixed by a neighbor.

This is a letter that Debbie wrote to her Grandma Rogers. She came up to me and showed me this letter and I just had to post about it, SO CUTE!
It reads: "Der grama I love yo vare much rojrs love."
Translation: "Dear Grandma, I love you very much, Rogers love."
(I helped her spell 'much')

Fireworks

We kept the kids up and watched fireworks this year. This is the first year we've done this so the kids were pretty excited. But then we had to wait, and wait, and wait for it to get dark enough to do the fireworks and just before they were about to start Isaac started complaining about being tired and said he wanted to go home and go to bed.

But once they started the kids loved it! I love the look on their faces!

Debbie was so excited! She kept saying, "I can't wait for my mom to write about this on the blog." hahaha! She cracks me up.

Cosette was just thrilled to be up and about this late at night.

When we got home we brushed their teeth, prayed with them and sent them to bed and they were all asleep almost immediately. I've never had them fall asleep that fast!

Well, He Pooped....

...In his underwear. Three times now. Blah
I'm just grateful he pooped. Me and enima's DO NOT mix.
Now the goal is to find a way for him to make it to the toilet. That's the tricky part.
