"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."-Emerson

Halloween and Car

Well, yesterday was an interesting day. First we had the ward halloween party, which was a lot of fun. Debbie won a prize for her costume and she was more excited about having her name called out than she was about getting the prize, she turned after they called out her name and said, "Mom, they just said Debbie!!"
Then last night after we got the kids in bed Chad and I were decided what to do and I thought it would be fun to go get some Carl's Jr. real quick and then sit down and watch Iron Man (I can always watch Iron Man, I LOVE that show!). So I took off and as I was sitting in line at the drive through I was tapped from behind. It was a big expidition so it totally missed the bumper and went right into the back of the van. I know it's not that bad, but it's kindof a bummer for us. The lady was really nice and we've exchanged information and hopefully the insurances will take care of it without too much drama.

Cosette somehow got ahold of this donut by herself and as you can see, quite enjoyed it!

Isaac was superman again this year, I decided I'd take advantage of the fact that my kids don't really care if they're the same thing two years in a row, so Debbie and Isaac both wore last year's costumes.

"Ha! This is fun!"

I'm teaching Debbie to read from the book "Teach Your Child To Reach In 100 Easy Lessons" and it's amazing how quickly she's been able to learn. She's already reading little words like 'seed' 'sat' 'rat' 'me' etc. The first time she read a word all by herself it was so gratifying for me to hear her giggle and exclaim, "Ha! This is fun!" Joy filled my heart! Yay!!! Yes Debbie, reading IS fun!

Pumkin Patch

We went to a pumpin patch on Tuesday and the kids had so much fun! They had a big playground that the kids loved. It would have been nice if it had been a little warmer so we would have been able to stay a little longer, but we had a lot of fun anyway. It's so nice to be able to do fun things with the kids now that they're getting a little older.

Bye Bye Daddy!

This was Chad's farewell this morning. How can you have a bad day when your day starts with three smiling faces waving bye through the window?!

Random...

Random story...
At dinner tonight Chad had told Isaac no over something and Isaac was throwing a big fit and kept saying, "Daddy, I sad. You made me sad." Chad finally turned to him and said "Get used to it." Isaac immediately stopped crying and shrugged his shoulders and said, "ok." And that was the end of it. Chad had to leave the room so Isaac wouldn't see how hard he was laughing.
