"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."-Emerson

"Ha! This is fun!"

I'm teaching Debbie to read from the book "Teach Your Child To Reach In 100 Easy Lessons" and it's amazing how quickly she's been able to learn. She's already reading little words like 'seed' 'sat' 'rat' 'me' etc. The first time she read a word all by herself it was so gratifying for me to hear her giggle and exclaim, "Ha! This is fun!" Joy filled my heart! Yay!!! Yes Debbie, reading IS fun!

You're a good mom to do it so early. It's not always easy, sometimes you only get 5 minutes, it depends on how fun you make it and how much the child is into it. But, when it becomes a chore for both of you that's a good time to take a break, it's better to keep learning a good experience for the both of you. Way to go Debbie!
