Sometimes kids can say the most profound things. Debbie was talking to her grandma about all of her friends and said this, "Oh, and my family, my family are my friends! And I have to count myself because I'm my own friend!"
How wonderful is that?!? Just so innocent and self-assured, "I'm my own friend." Man I hope that stays with her throughout her life.
