"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."-Emerson

Time With Family

Because Chad was out of town for a conference I decided to take the kids up to my parents and spend the weekend with them. We had so much fun! I was worried about the stress of living out of a suitcase, but I forgot how peaceful it is at my parents house. My mom was wonderful and helped with the kids and we just had a nice, relaxing weekend. I loved spending time with them!

Playing with Uncle Jack.

Grandpa snuggled with Cosetty while she woke up from her nap.

This was Isaac's reaction when I told him we were going home yesterday.
While we were up there we were able to visit with some of the family that live close to Mom and Dad and it was nice for the kids to be able to play with their cousins.
I love you Mom and Dad and Jack! Thanks for letting us come play at your house!!

Sewing!!

I sewed!! I'm so excited. Since I've been feeling better I've been itching to start doing crafty things. I came across the fabric at Hobby Lobby and fell in love. They have the CUTEST fabric!! So I bought this fabric and came home and two hours later I had 2 skirts and 2 fabric flowers. It's all very simple so my sister helped me choose some fabric that goes with it and she helped me add some panels to make the skirt go puffier. It's very cute but I don't have pictures yet. :)

Sickies Again

Debbie and Isaac are sick again. They both have a fever and Debbie has a headache too. I signed up for daycare at the gym and the next day Debbie got sick, so I'm thinking they picked something up there. Debbie sleeps alot when she's sick. She doesn't usually complain, so the fact that she woke up crying that her head hurt says something about how much pain she was in. She already had one nap today and when I went in to talk to Chad this is what I found. She really is not feeling well. Poor kiddos.

Kindergarten Program

Debbie had her Kindergarten Program last night. It was really cute! I don't know what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised. She had a fever and a headache yesterday but I knew she'd be devastated if she missed the program so I gave her Tylenol and went ahead and sent her. She did a really good job, but you could tell she wasn't feeling her best because she wasn't as energetic as she usually is. I hope everyone will forgive me for sending her sick. Grandpa Rogers came down to watch with us and she was thrilled to see him! I'm glad he was able to come, it made her day.

Misc.

I had to go shopping and Chad needed sleep so we put the kids on the computer while I was gone. When I got home the older kids jumped off the computer to come see me but Cosette didn't move. I looked closer and this is what I saw.

She had fallen fast asleep while watching Debbie play computer!!
I couldn't wake her up until almost 7 so of course she was up until 11.
We have this mirror in our hall and I'll often come out and catch the kids making faces at themselves or just checking themselves out.

We converted Cosette's crib into a toddler bed and she loves it. She's been pretty good about staying in bed. We did have to get a bed rail because she fell out her first night.
