"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."-Emerson

A little scare

We had a little scare last month. At one of Caleb's visits the dr heard a heart murmur that "sounded a little different" than normal heart murmurs and he was worried about a hole in the heart. He sent us to a cardiologist but we had to wait 12 days to get in to see him and that was a long 12 days. It was scary because Caleb was still on oxygen and if he had a hole in his heart that could cause him to need oxygen. But, thankfully, no hole! The cardiologist said the murmur was just loud, he did an ultrasound to rule out a hole (because of the oxygen) and said that everything looks great. I cannot even express how grateful and relieved we were to hear that.
Caleb also has a belly button hernia, that's why his belly button looks huge in all his pictures. It is getting better though and they don't worry about it unless it's still there by their first birthday. Isaac had one too and his resolved itself and we feel confident that Caleb's will resolve as well.
