"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."-Emerson

Cosette's Birthday Party

We celebrated Cosette's birthday tonight and it was a lot of fun! Grandma and Grandpa Rogers and Uncle Kyle came down and we had some friends come over to sing Happy Birthday to Cosette. She wasn't sure what to think when we plopped this big huge piece of chocolate cake down in front of her.
I had to give her a first bite before she was willing to try it herself.
Isaac came and asked for a wipe and I thought he wanted it to clean his own face off with. Turns out he wanted it for Cosette, he did not like how dirty her face was!
She got more cake ON her than in her, but that's the way it's supposed to be for your first birthday! All the kids playing in the tent in Debbie and Isaac's room...
From left to right: Presley, Debbie, Anthony, Michaela, Knox, and Isaac
We're sure grateful for the friendships we've made in the short while we've lived in student housing down here!
