So, any suggestions on getting a kid to poop in the toilet? We're trying to bribe him, and trying to get him to relax on the toilet, so far nothing is working.
"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."-Emerson

We had the same problems with Logan. Well he would poop in his underware (personaly a pull-up sounds better). It just took time with Logan, I would put him in a pull-up every once in a while because if he doesn't want to poop on a good day if he is all backed up then it will make matters worse. I did read a few things about kids being scared to poop in the potty but I don't remember why they were scared. We did have candy Logan got for pooping and it helped some days but not all the time. Good luck!
My sister-in-law had to give her son an enima because he hadn't pooped for a long time. He had an accident when it started working, but after that he started going in the potty.
My sister also had problems with her little girl pooping on the potty. She would just go for days without pooping until she really had to go and then she finally would. Sometimes it would take her a few tries but in the end nature would take its course. I know she would give her lots of juice and fresh fruit to help ease things along. It took a few months but she kept getting better and now it is no big deal anymore. Maybe it will just take some time and a few tummy aches with Isaac. Good luck!
We are having pooping problems too. Those some how always end up in the pants. It's supposedly the hardest part for them, don't know why. But I do know it's the grosest to clean up!
