Awards and 'Shortcuts'

Chad got an award Thursday night at the Chemistry Department awards dinner! I'm so proud of him. He has had a lot on his plate lately, what with me being sick and having to take care of me and having to be home more, so it was a pleasant surprise to find that his advisor had nominated him for this award and that he had won! "Recognizes advanced continuing graduate students." [And it came with a nice little monetary package as well. :)] Good job Chad! You're brilliant and hardworking and you deserve it!

I finally got around to giving the boys haircuts yesterday [desperately overdue!] and it's cracking us up because Isaac keeps calling it a 'shortcut.' He keeps rubbing his head and saying to Chad, "mommy gave us shortcuts today huh dad!" haha!
